12 months have passed since my beautiful gentle giant crossed the Rainbow Bridge, I miss him so much it hurts inside, I haven't the words to say how much, and it's pretty hard to do this when you can't see for tears. Dreams I close my eyes and then I see you Bathed in that Heavenly glow I just can't stem the tears Bob Because I miss you so. You gave me your lifetime I gave you my heart Knowing oh too well Some day we'd have to part I knew your eyes were growing dim Your body past it's peak I saw it far too clearly Every day of that last week But, I know your happy at the Bridge How I wish I didn't cry When I see you run in meadows I know Spirit never dies And so good night, God Bless sweet boy I'll see you in my dreams Where we'll walk again together Through the woodland to the stream I close my eyes and then I see you Bathed in that Heavenly glow I just can't stem the tears Bob Because I miss you so.
