Chubbs

Watched Over by Angels

The above picture was taken just a couple of days before Chubbs was to be struck down by GVD

It's 12 months since our beautiful, big, brave boy took his final journey and crossed The Rainbow Bridge.
12 months, one year and the pain is still there, we still miss you boy, we'll never forget you, I just hope you know just how many hearts you touched in your 4 short years on this Earth, because we know you touched so many, with your antics when you were here, with your courage, bravery and dignity too, right up to the end. Your bond with me, your Mum was so strong, Chubbs thank you for telling me you wanted to go when you heard the call carried on the Angel's wings, I knew the look so well, but some how you carried on for another day, and then for precious minutes as your Dad, Terry rushed to be by your side, somehow you were able to wait, to hang on, to say your goodbyes, and we can't thank you enough for that.

I still hear those terrible, feral screams of agony when GVD struck, your Dad still calls you in, sometimes forgetting that your not here on the Earth with us, Charlie your half brother grieved for you so deeply it frightened us, you'd never been apart you see and he just didn't understand you had to go.  All the gang grieved for you, and so many people shed tears for you that fateful day.  I'll never understand why, never understand how you managed to hang on for 5 days, but you did, and we'll always remember your passing out in the garden, bathed in sunlight, surrounded with many who truely loved you.  I remember so clearly whispering in your ear, it was time, we knew it, you were ready and at peace, with goodbyes said, your big brown eyes closed for all eternity.

If love alone could have made you well, you'd have been with us now, but some things just arn't meant to be, I guess you were born a guaranteed Angel, and so on this page I'd like to remember some of the many good times we had, I hope with all my heart that those who visit  will enjoy seeing some of your life in pictures, each picture here is a Golden Memory that Chubbs gave us. From day one you lived life with a passion, you were devoted to us your family, and you'll never be forgotten.   This page therefore is a celebration of your wonderful life, a life that was filled with love, you gave that unconditionally to the very end, just as we will always cherish you and the memory of the time spent with us.

Of course I simply couldn't leave out the pic Chubbs is most famous for could I!  It's easy to see why he earned the nickname Sherman isn't it!

I remember a friend mailing me when Chubbs passed on, she said "Well one thing's for sure, he won't be knocking on Heaven's door, he'll have barged right on in!"  Those words gave us so much comfort because they summed him up completely Rainbow Bridge would never be the same again!!

God Bless and keep you sweet boy, until we meet again, Mum, Dad and All the Terole Gang
